Behind the Music
AlphaStomp is predominately a Blues Duo, comprising of Guitar& Drums, but can also play as a Trio & Quartet (Keys & Blues Harp) based in Palm Beach, Q.
Main influences - Muddy Waters, Rolling Stones, Son House, Jimi Hendrix, Seasick Steve & AC/DC, have played an integral role in shaping their signature sound.
AlphaStomp seeks to offer something different and unique to Blues fans by performing music with an original twist using Cigar Box Guitar, Open Tuned Guitars & Slide Guitar.
Gigs so far have included The Gold Coast Show, Cooly Rocks, Buskers By The Creek, The Scare Crow Festival a headline show at The Gold Coast Arts Centre.
In July 2018 gigs were also played in Vienna, Prague and The Suwalki Blues Fest in Poland.
AlphaStomp also played at Blues On Broadbeach Festival 2019 & were a feature artists at The Gulgong Folk & Blues Fest 2019. AlphaStomp will again be performing at the 2021 Blues On Brodbeach festival.
